Planning for Comprehensive Emergency Exercise in Al Ghuzayn

As part of the community coordination initiative with government agencies in the Wilayat of Al-Khaboura, Mawarid Mining held a preparatory meeting on March 5, 2025, to implement a comprehensive emergency plan at Al-Ghuzayn Mine. This was done in collaboration with the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, Al-Khaboura Health Center, and the contractor Gulf Rock, with the aim of enhancing the readiness of emergency teams and rapid response in case of accidents.

This exercise aimed to simulate potential emergency scenarios within the mine by conducting an initial evacuation drill coordinated between the Health and Safety Department of Mawarid Mining Company and the Rescue Unit of Gulf Rock Company, under the supervision of the Civil Defense Authority and a specialized medical team from Al-Khaboura Health Center. This exercise provides the concerned parties with the opportunity to practically learn about rescue and ambulance mechanisms and how to handle emergency situations in the mine’s work environment, contributing to improved coordination and quick response.
