Student Visit to the Ghuzayn Copper Mine – July 2025 Press Release | July 2025 In support of social responsibility collaboration between Mawarid Mining Company and the Environment Authority, represented by the Environment Center in Wilayat Al Suwaiq, the company hosted a student delegation from several higher education institutions on a field visit to the Ghuzayn Copper Mine. The visit was organized by the Environment Center in Suwaiq. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with the stages and activities of copper extraction, as well as to review the environmental systems applied on-site, including: Water recycling and reuse in operational processes. Dust control systems Noise reduction procedures. The students expressed great interest in the technologies used at the site and commended the company’s efforts in implementing environmental sustainability practices and minimizing negative impacts on the natural surroundings.
