Mawarid Mining Conducts Joint Emergency Drill at Al Ghuzayn

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance emergency preparedness, Mawarid Mining conducted a joint preparatory drill at its copper mine in Al Ghuzayn. The exercise was held in coordination with the Public Authority of Civil Defence, the health center, and HSE teams from Mawarid and Gulf Rock in Al Khaboura. The drill simulated a workplace injury scenario, testing the response plan from incident notification to medical evacuation. A full-scale drill is scheduled next, involving advanced medical simulations and equipment from the Civil Defence and Al Khaboura Health Center to further strengthen workplace safety and inter-entities coordination.
