The Ghuzayn Underground Mining Project is currently the only operating underground mine in Oman. Located in the Wilayat of Al Khaboura, the Ghuzayn Project is considered one of Oman’s income diversification projects in line with Oman’s Vision 2040.
The project adopts underground mining techniques to increase the accuracy of mining operations needed to assess mineral deposits.
