Subsidiary companies and joint ventures of Mawarid operating in various parts of the world employ local talent and expertise, and maintain a healthy mix between the nationals and expatriates. The Company believes in making investment in its areas of operations and by employing and developing nationals. Expatriates working with the Group are experienced professionals and skilled technicians who are expected to coach, develop and mentor the nationals to be competent technical professionals.

Learning & Development

Company supports people who wish to learn, develop and grow with the Company. We promote self-learning and development culture and utilize functional, leadership and behavioural competency framework to assess and develop staff competencies and capabilities.

Given our ambitious expansion plans over the next few years, Mawarid in association with MB Holding Group offers “MB Leadership Development Program” for its employees that aims to develop its existing and emerging leaders to deliver Company’s long term business goals and aspirations

In the year 2012 and 2013, Company provided a total of 1,885 training seats for its Oman operations employees, which included learning opportunities for employees in functional, behavioural, leadership and occupational health and safety. Training/Learning programs for employees are conducted using both internal and external resources, and coaching by competent managers and technical professionals.
